Since my son has a nut allergy, we don't order Chinese takeout anymore. This homemade chicken with broccoli was AMAZING. I didn't have rice vinegar on hand so I used apple cider vinegar. I will try it again with rice vinegar because the taste was a teeny tiny bit off and I'm sure it was the vinegar.

I made this on a Friday night, when we might order takeout and eat something unhealthy anyway.
If I'm going to start making this regularly, I'll need to tinker a bit to make it a little healthier. So I plan to try coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, and I may try some caramelized onions in order to reduce the sugar.
